UPDATE: Westside Road open to single lane alternating traffic after washout

According to DriveBC, Westside Road is now be open to single-lane alternating traffic.

The road was closed today until 2 p.m. for geotechnical investigations after a washout 3 kilometres north of Fintry.

Another washout has closed Westside Road in both directions.

DriveBC says the closure is 3 kilometres north of Fintry.

There’s currently no estimated time for the road to reopen and an assessment is in progress.
