VIDEO: Social agencies say homelessness rhetoric ‘ill-informed’ and ‘divisive’

A dozen social service agencies in Kelowna all agree the civic election has drawn out some of the worst sentiments about homelessness. They all signed an open letter aimed at setting the record straight.  The letter describes some of the commentary that's emerged over the last few weeks as "ill-informed" and "divisive" and suggests it's "diminishing efforts to address this critical issue."  Celine Thomson of The Bridge Youth and Family Services stopped-in at KelownaNow to talk about what prompted these agencies to speak out on what has become a central issue in the campaign.
