An ever-growing wait list for a unit at Mission Flats is likely a sign of how hard it can be to find a place to rent in Kelowna.

The green development includes features that environmentally mindful renters might look for – such as solar panels, and electric car charging stations (along with two community electric cars that can be used by tenants).
One of the stand out features though for many who live here is the stamp of approval when it comes to pets.

“We looked from Salmon Arm to just south of Kelowna, and this was one of the only places we found,” explains resident Victoria Zaremba, whose dog Echo meets the size guidelines for pets permitted to live in the units.
“We’ve got this awesome place to live for a whole bunch of people,” says Scott Butler, President of Highstreet Ventures. “We are happy to see them make it their own.”
