The Carma Project gave away two cars Wednesday.
Since 2010, Penny and Bruce Stranaghan at Integra Tire have been encouraging people to give up their ageing vehicles so they can benefit those in need.

Today, Cars 15 and 16 were handed over. But this time the vehicles did not go to individuals or families, but to organizations who help scores of people through difficult times.
Now Canada drove away in a 2006 Honda Oddysey donated by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Steven Krywulak,

and the Elizabeth Fry Society ended up with a 2006 PT cruiser donated by a group called Adult and Teen Challenge, Kelowna Centre.

The Carma Project encourages people to donate cars which are serviced at Integra Tire. Once they're deemed roadworthy, the vehicles are matched with needy individuals, families or, in this case, organizations.
