Most Kelowna residents have probably seen or at least heard of this video by now.

Filmed in late December by Kelowna videographer Aaron DeSilva, the "Meanwhile in Canada" video went viral collecting over two hundred thousand views.

Aside from being a hilarious depiction of Canada, the video also helped illustrate the frigid temperatures across the country. 

Fast forward a couple weeks and not much has changed. 

Filmed on Manitoba's Highway 482, a couple were on their way home when they noticed the road was so icy they could probably skate on it. 

In classic Canadian fashion, they grabbed their skates out of the truck and did exactly that. 

This video of a man skating down a Montreal street was also filmed in late December.

This video, also shot in Montreal, portrays a rather authentic game of street hockey. 

Kelowna will actually be enjoying some milder temperatures this week, with temperatures forcast to be above zero right into the weekend.
