Lenny is a one-year-old German Shepherd, and is currently at the Penticton SPCA.

This sweet man has honey eyes and a heart of gold. Lenny’s early life lacked socialization and he is still learning that people aren’t so scary.

Lenny is seeking a patient and understanding guardian who will provide him with a safe and loving environment. 

He is smart and eager to please. He loves to play fetch and is looking for an active family.

He is still working on his leash manners and reactivity to traffic, but would make an excellent hiking companion.

While curious about other dogs, Lenny needs to work on his social manners. He would be best suited to a home without other animals, where he can be spoiled and have a couch or bed to himself. 

Lenny is a loving and protective companion who is waiting for the right family to welcome him into their lives.

Adoption counselling with staff and multiple visits will be required for Lenny.
