Today is Teacher Appreciation Day at Big White

Calling all teachers! Today is the day to head up to the mountain for some spring skiing.

Today is Big White’s Teacher Appreciation Day, and you can get 50% off lift tickets, group lessons and equipment rentals.

Discounts can extend to family and friends as long as one teacher with ID is present for each discount request. Discounts available Sunday, April 7 only and staff must present proof of being a teacher. Proof can include BCTF card or SD23 card with photo ID.

As of 6:26 a.m. this morning, the resort has received 4 cm of new snow in 24 hours. That brings the alpine snow base to 194 cm.

It’s currently 1C with calm winds and overcast skies. There are 12 lifts open serving 72 runs.
