  • 3 hikes you should enjoy before summer is over

As the day's become shorter and the summer draws to an end, we didn't want you to miss out on an opportunity to make some long-lasting memories and perhaps a new friend. So here's a list to assist in getting in one or three more summer adventures.

    Peachland: Pin Cushion Mountain

Accessible year round, this is a moderate hike that is 4km round trip. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear as there are a few steep sections. Once at the top, revel in the jaw dropping view of Okanagan Lake.

    Kelowna: Lebanon Creek

Somewhat of a hidden gem, located in East Kelowna, 6.4km round trip. Nestled amongst quiet neighbourhoods and picturesque vineyards, this is a butt burner! The ascent is steep that starts with several flights of stairs. You can access the entrance from Lakeshore, and you'll pop out in the residential area of the Mission, in East Kelowna.

    Lake Country: Spion Kop Loop

Take in the stunning views of the Okanagan Valley from an alternate perspective in Lake Country! Described as moderate to difficult, this is a 4.7km loop. Dogs are welcomed, so long as they are kept on leash.

Now go explore the Okanagan and show us some pics.
