The Saanich Fair returns this weekend

The 155th Saanich Fair is back this weekend with plenty for the whole family to enjoy.

On Sept. 2-4, visit the Saanich Fairgrounds for plenty of rides, demonstrations, vendors, entertainment and more.

Saanich Fair

The Saanich Fairgrounds has been home to the annual fair since 1868.

Among the lineup is events like the Highland dancing competition, horse shows, 4-H events, stock dogs demonstrations and a special performance from the Coastal Cowgirls.

Before the shows start on Saturday, the midway is opening today for rides, games and food only from 3 pm to 10 pm.

On Saturday and Sunday, the fair starts at 9 am and wraps up at 9pm. The final day, Monday, the day starts at 9 am and ends at 6 pm.
