Looking for something fun to do next month?

The first annual Okanagan Mascot Games are set to take place in Vernon where mascots from across North America will compete in several events.

From an obstacle relay course, to lip sync battles and even a jousting tournament, attendees can watch mascots such as Rocky the Racoon from the Kelowna Rockets compete during the three days beginning May 10.

The charitable event will raise funds for BC Children’s Hospital and JoeAnna’s House as well as other local charities.

A quick list of the competing mascots shows that the Silver Fox from Silver Star Resort, HarVee of the Penticton Vees, The General of the West Kelowna Warriors and Sniper from the Vernon Vipers will all be attending.
