A stolen vehicle was found burnt to a crisp on Monday morning at the top of a mountain to the west of Okanagan Lake.
RCMP recovered the stolen vehicle, a black pickup truck, which they found “cold” at 8 a.m. on Monday at the top of Blue Grouse mountain.
BCWS also attended the incident, watering down the nearby vegetation that was affected by the fire.

Three BCWS personnel responded to the fire and are making good progress, said Taylor MacDonald, BCWS Fire Information Officer.
BCWS was unsure if any other vehicles were in the area or if any structures were vulnerable to the fire.
It is currently recorded at 0.01 hectares. BCWS was unable to comment on any growth or suppression of the fire at this time.
