The festival, which was supposed to take place in August will not be happening.
On the Squamish website it stated “This decision was not made lightly and we sincerely apologize to all the people this decision affects: the fans, artists, industry partners, corporate partners, suppliers, and all of our supporters within the community of Squamish.”
Festival line ups are usually announced at the beginning of the new year, but Squamish did not release anything.
The festival, previously known as LIVE at Squamish was an annual music festival co-produced by Vancouver-based BRANDVILLE and Live Nation Canada.
Last year the festival had Mumfords & Sons, Drake, and Sam Smith headline the event.
