Residents travelling between the Thompson and Cariboo should be aware of a snowfall warning currently in effect.
According to Environment Canada, a pacific warm front is giving heavy snow to 100 Mile, the North Thompson, Cariboo, and McGregor regions. Close to 15 centimetres is expected to fall in the areas by tonight.
Snow over most of the region is expected to taper off to a few flurries late this afternoon. The only spot that will see continued snowfall is McGregor.
"Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions," wrote Environment Canada. "Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow."
