A dump of snow is expected to hit the Coquihalla Highway, just in time for the new year.
Up to 30 centimetres is expected to fall over the next 24 hours before easing off by Tuesday night.
Snow will begin this evening with the snow level near 900 metres," reads the alert.
"The snow level will rise on Tuesday morning to near the summit at which point the snow will become heavy and wet. On Tuesday evening the wet snow will change to rain as the snow level rises above the summit."
Non-essential travel is not recommended.
