Slight delays because of downtown Kelowna road closure

Beginning Friday morning motorists will notice a closure on Ellis Street between Doyle Avenue and the Transit Exchange.

The closure began at 6 a.m. as construction crews will be working on underground utilities for the new Memorial Parkade. The road is expected to re-open by 3 p.m. on Mon, April 11. Only pedestrians will have access to the east side of Ellis Street during this time.

The City of Kelowna thanks residents, businesses, and motorists for their patience during construction season.
