On Thursday, August 24th, the Salvation Army is hosting a Family Carnival at their church on Sutherland Avenue.

From delicious Carnival eats like hot dogs, pop corn and of course, cotton Candy, to the always fun bouncy castle and dunk tank, this event promises to fill your last days of summer with fun.

"We are ending summer with a fun event and inviting the community to join us, " states Patty Lou Bryant, Communications Coordinator. "It is free and we would love to have families with children join us,”

This annual event is held in order to kick off the organization's fall programs with a bang and will be taking place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the parking lot of 1480 Sutherland Avenue.
