Back in full force for another year is Kelowna’s Rib Fest, featuring everything from sweet barbeque eats to a great place to take the kids this weekend.
Hosted by the Kelowna Sunrise Rotary, Rib Fest is more than just a food festival as a portion of funds raised from the event will be going back into our community to help youth and the underprivileged.

Four of Canada’s most awarded ribbers are onsite all weekend ready to serve hungry meatatarians a plate full of delicious, sauce-drenched barbeque including everything from pulled pork, chicken and of course, pork ribs.

Free entry gets you access to the grounds where you and your family can enjoy live music, a vendor's village and some hearty competition as the ribbers hope their grilling skills will earn them the title.

Fear not if you have a vegetarian in the group, local food trucks are also ready to serve up some meat-free grub along with ice cream and mini donuts.

Though the event is family friendly, there are still some adult beverage gardens perfect for sipping a cool brew with the crew. Sunday is dedicated to the little ones and will feature a lot of fun activities like face painting and a bouncy house.
