  • Prince George RCMP arrest man after break and enter at local garage

    Prince George RCMP needed to act fast this afternoon when an alarm was triggered at a garage on Johnson Street. 

    According to police, at 2:30 am RCMP first received report of the break and enter in progress. After arriving on scene, officers attempted to clear the garage. 

    A lone man was located hiding under a vehicle in the garage. He attempted to run from police but was apprehended and taken into custody shortly after. 

    Jeffrey Nik Krafczyk, a 39-year-old Prince George man, was charged by the BC Prosecution Service for break and enter with intent, possession of break-in instruments, resisting arrest, and two counts of failure to comply. Krafczyk was held in custody and will appear in court later today.
