Members of the Prince George RCMP Street Crew Unit were conducting a traffic stop on Foothills Boulevard as part of a drug trafficking investigation that began in 2019.
The 34-year-old driver was arrested and found to be in possession of about $10,000 in cash. The vehicle was seized as part of the investigation.
As a result of this arrest and the investigation leading up to it, the Street Crew Unit obtained and executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants on residences on the 1200 block of North Ospika Boulevard and on Orbin Place, both in Prince George.
During these searches a large amount of methamphetamine and cocaine was seized, along with drug trafficking paraphernalia and what is believed to be in excess of $50,000 in cash.
