Water Street is closed today from Doyle Avenue to the Queensway Roundabout (near O'Flannigan's Pub), due to the 40th Kelowna MapleFest.

The section of Water Street will be closed today from 6: 30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to accommodate MapleFest Family Day happening at Stuart Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Event goers will be able to enjoy activities, food and a variety of musical performances, and other entertainment.

Performances run throughout the day—rain or shine—ranging from local singers to artisans, and theatrical character performers. 

Tomorrow's famous Sugar Shack Brunch will be hosted at the Laurel Packinghouse from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hosted by the Centre Cultrel Francophone de l'Okanagan (CCFO), the event known as, Festival de l'erable, started on Thursday and wraps up on Sunday.
