Police in Oliver seize weapons, drugs during domestic assault investigation

Officers in Oliver arrested and charged a man with multiple offences while responding to a domestic assault call.

According to police, they were called to a residence in Oliver on May 6 after receiving a report of domestic assault.

During the investigation, officers applied for a warrant to search the residence.

The search of the residence resulted in police seizing a loaded handgun, brass knuckles, illicit drugs and a substantial amount of cash.

A 21-year-old man is now facing a number of charges which have been forwarded to the Public Prosecution Service of Canada for consideration.
