The future is bright for the Kamloops Blazers.
According to the club, prospects Mats Lindgren and Dylan Ernst have been named to Canada's roster for the 2020 Youth Olympics in Lausanne Switzerland.

Lindgren, a 15-year-old defenseman, was selected by the Blazers in the first round of the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft, seventh overall. Playing with the Burnaby Winter Club Midget Prep team, he has 10 assists in 17 games this season. Lindgren has also suited up with the Blazers for two regular-season games.
Ernst was chosen as a goaltender in the same draft, 28th overall. The 15-year-old was the first goalie taken in the entire draft.
