Over 20,000 votes cast, with 4 hours to go

The City of Kelowna said in a statement that, as of 1 pm, there have been 20,686 votes cast in the election.

That total includes advance polls and the first five hours of voting today.

Voting is still open until 8 pm.

Residents must bring two pieces of ID to prove residency and identity.

Stay tuned to KelownaNow all night for live, up-to-date election results as the city elects a mayor, eight councillors and four school trustees.
