The Great Okanagan Beer Festival returned to Kelowna holding the main event Saturday afternoon in Waterfront park, giving participants the ability to try over 120 different beers all while hanging out on one of Kelowna's great beaches.
The event had doubled in size since it's first year bringing in over 3'000 beer lovers to indulge in delicious beverages brought by over 40 different breweries. From Tree Brewing here in Kelowna to Longwood Brewery from Nanaimo, brewers came from far and wide to bring their best to Kelowna.

Not only was their plenty to drink but a lot to eat. Local food trucks like Crasian and Smoke's Poutinerie were on site, as well as Grimm's Finest Foods because what combination is better than beer and barbeque?

This festival wasn't only about beer, it also hosted a number of live music events going on throughout Kelowna at local pubs featuring artists such as Kytami and DJ Bag-O-Beetz. The main event also had live music playing through its entirety with an impressive line-up of 7 bands featuring rock duo The Standstills.

If you didn't think this event could get any better you are wrong, they also had awesome side events to take part in like Bar Hop Kelowna, the brewers brunch, Best of Fest and even sumo suits!

The recipe for a perfect weekend is great beer, good friends, live music and some Okanagan sunshine and this event had it all!
