On Friday morning dozens of moms, dads and babies headed to Mission Creek Park to participate in the Moga for Mama's 5K run.

The fun 80s themed run was put on by Amy Rauscher and the team at MOGA Moms, to raise funds for local not-for-profit organization Mamas For Mamas. Rauscher wanted to thank the organization for their continued support of struggling mothers. The organization provides emotional and financial support for low-income mothers and mothers in crisis.

"We can't do what we do without the amazing support from people like Amy, who put this run on for us," said Shannon Christensen, founder of Mamas For Mamas. The event had around 50 participants, raising a total of around $1,400.

The event wasn't just for the moms – dads, grandparents and those without children came out to "Get Physical" for this race.

Runners and walkers were decked out in 80s garb from head to toe, starting with leg warmers and leotards all they way up to the signature 80s bangs and off-to-the-side ponytails.

Before the race began attendees were led in a jazzercise inspired warm up to get their blood pumping, while hit songs from the era blasted throughout the park.
