Nanaimo RCMP looking for missing man last seen in Vernon

The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 50-year-old Wade Haines.

Haines missed a scheduled medical appointment in early February and as a result there is significant concern for his overall well-being and safety.

Investigators have been able to confirm that Haines was in Vernon on January 28, 2024.

At that time, Haines apparently indicated that he may try to make his way to Manitoba. To date, this cannot be confirmed and his current whereabouts are unknown.

Haines is a Caucasian man, 6 ft. 2 inches, 210 pounds, with short brown hair and hazel eyes. The picture provided is recent.
