  • More snow expected as Kelowna remains below freezing

The snow’s going to hang around a little while yet.

NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English said freezing temperatures are set to continue in Kelowna.

“Don’t put the snow shovels away yet,” she warned.

“We will see wet snow and mixed precipitation today and tomorrow when the next wave of Pacific moisture moves into our region from the northwest.”

She added: “Daytime highs will remain a couple degrees within freezing.”

Today’s high is expected to be –1ºC, while the low should be around –5ºC.
