    More rain and snow in the forecast for Kelowna

    Winter is in full force this weekend, with even more rain and snow forecasted for today. 

    Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist, says that we’ll start the weekend with this damp weather before things dry up a bit tomorrow.

    “Snow levels will continue to fluctuate between the valley base and about 600m, keeping mixed precipitation on deck for Saturday,” says English.

    “The atmospheric river that has been directing moisture into our region will lose steam by Saturday afternoon,” she adds. “And we will see drier conditions by Saturday night. We will see a mix of sun and cloud on Sunday.”

    Daytime highs remain near freezing through the weekend.
