    Man seriously injured after pedestrian involved collision near Ospika Boulevard

    Prince George RCMP is investigating following a pedestrian-involved collision at the corner of Ospika Boulevard and Davis Road. 

    According to police, the incident occurred just before 4:30 pm on Sunday. Officers attended and helped transport a 22-year-old man to the hospital with serious injuries. Fortunately, those injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. 

    The 73-year-old male driver remained at the scene. Alcohol was not believed to be involved in the incident. 

    A portion of the road was closed to traffic as investigators gathered evidence. The Ford SUV involved in the collision was seized by police and will undergo a mechanical inspection as part of the investigation. 

    Further details will be released as the investigation progresses. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300.
