Man charged with breaking and entering as well as assault after Lake Country home invasion

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a Lake Country home invasion late last month.

Alec Ambrosius Roberts was arrested on March 11 after the Feb. 28 incident in the 11300 block of Pretty Road.

He has been charged with one count of break and enter and one count of assault with a weapon.

On Thursday, Roberts will appear before a judge via video.

Lake Country RCMP have also appealed for help in finding another suspect they believe was involved in the incident.

“Anyone with information that can assist this investigation is asked to contact the Lake Country RCMP at (250) 766-2288,” Cst. Lesley Smith, from Kelowna RCMP, said.
