Okanagan Spirits, a locally-based distillery, is looking to revamp the image for their upcoming Craft Distillery Mixoff event and they are calling out to Kelowna’s creative community for help.

This year, they are holding an extra competition prior to the Mixoff by asking artists to design a creative and eye-catching logo for the promotion of the event. You can learn more about the logo design contest here.
"We would like to see something that creatively represents our event which features local spirits, bartenders, cocktails and the competition element," said Shereen Abbas, head of Digital Marketing and Communications at Okanagan Spirits. "Anything that ties in the Okanagan is a plus and of course you need to use the official name: 'The Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery Mixoff'."

This design contest was inspired by Okanagan Spirits' dedication to supporting local.
"The Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery Mixoff is an event that showcases the Okanagan, we wanted to tie in our love and support of local by seeking an individual from the Okanagan community to help us revamp our logo this year rather than going the commercial route," said Abbas.

And of course, it wouldn't be a competition without a prize! Not only will the winner get some serious bragging rights as the logo is shared across Okanagan Spirits' online platforms, but they will receive an impressive prize pack. The prize pack includes a $100 gift basket from Okanagan Spirits, a $100 gift certificate for Olivia's Oils and Vinegars, and two tickets to the Mixoff event.
The logo is being designed for Okanagan Spirits and RedScope Media's fifth annual Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery Mixoff that will be hosted on November 2nd at the Laurel Packinghouse.
