The Kelowna Palette Club will be hosting their annual Simply Art show next weekend, featuring the work of some talented local artists.
There are 25 established artists participating in the show, with over 100 pieces being displayed at the Laurel Packing House.

“Styles range from abstract through impressionistic to realistic, rendered in a variety of mediums,” said the club. “Whether you favour pastels, watercolour, oil or acrylic, there will be many beautiful works to enjoy.”
The charity that the artists have chosen to support this year is JoeAnna’s House. There will be a silent auction of several original paintings that have been donated. The proceeds will go towards the charity.

The club has been a part of the community for more than 60 years, and they’re looking forward to another show to celebrate Kelowna’s talent.
“We are all proud of our long history and how our club has contributed to Kelowna’s cultural life throughout the years. We feel that making an annual donation to a charity is an important way to show our involvement in the community where we live and work,” said Norma Thomas of the Kelowna Palette Club.
