A list of 50 Canadian companies to watch was released today, and included is a local company that made the list for its entrepreneurial spirit and rapid growth.

Deloitte, one of Canada’s leading professional services firms, unveiled the winners of the Technology Fast 50 awards program.

The program recognizes Canadian technology companies for their entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, rapid revenue growth, and world-class achievements.

Refresh Financial from Kelowna earned a spot in the top 10 on the list alongside companies such as SkipTheDishes (#5), Benevity (#10), and Diply (#1).

Ranked ninth in the list of high-achieving companies, Refresh Financial had a growth rate of 5,482.7%

This year, the Fast 50 winners achieved an average four-year growth rate of 4,625%, which represents a 74% increase from 2016.

The majority of this year’s Fast 50 winners are based in Ontario (29), followed by British Columbia (13) and Quebec (5), with the balance from the Prairie region (4).
