The Thompson Nicola Regional District is holding a public information meeting for those affected by the Elephant Hill wildfire. The update is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Friday, August 4th at the Sagebrush Theatre in Kamloops.

Those affected by the fire, including residents from the communities of Loon Lake, Clinton, 70 Mile, South Green Lake and surrounding rural areas are invited to attend.

Representatives from the BC Wildfire Service, RCMP, TNRD, Emergency Management BC and the Canadian Red Cross will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.

The meeting will also be livestreamed on the TNRD Facebook page.
