Prince George RCMP is conducting an impaired driving investigation following a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Foothills Boulevard and Chief Lake Road on Saturday. 

According to police, the incident occurred around noon between a pick-up truck and an SUV. An adult male driver and a child were removed from the SUV and transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the pick-up, a 38-year-old Prince George man, was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the detachment for further investigation. He was later released on a promie to appear in court at a later date. 

Vehicle traffic in the area was affected four close to three hours so officers could gather evidence from the scene.
