  • UPDATE: Hwy 3 now open after flooding

    Highway 3 near Keremeos is now open after flooding forced it to close late Wednesday night. 

    DriveBC warns that due to ongoing flooding conditions the road may close again without notice.

    Flooding has closed Hwy 3 near Keremeos.

    DriveBC reported the closure, 14 kilometres west of Keremeos, late Wednesday night.

    There’s no estimated time for the road to reopen, but a detour has been put in place.

    There are lengthy detours in place, with Hwy 97C being the recommended route between the Okanagan and the coast.

    DriveBC will provide the next update later this morning.
