UPDATE: Single-lane traffic on Hwy 1 west of Revelstoke

(Update: April 3 @ 9:27 am): Hwy 1 is now open to single-lane alternating traffic after being fully closed earlier this morning.

The estimated time of full reopening is 5 pm.

(Original story: April 3 @ 7:04 am): Hwy 1 has been closed in both directions west of Revelstoke following a vehicle incident.

Drive BC said it happened between Griffin Lake Avalanche Gate and Hwy 23.
