Residents heading to Alberta today will likely face some delays.
Highway 1 is closed for two hours in both directions from the West Boundary of Glacier National Park to the East Boundary of Glacier National Park, because of Avalanche Control.
The delays will be sometime before 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to DriveBC, there is no detour available.
Closer to home, the Okanagan Connector and Highway 97 are experiencing compact snow slushy and slippery sections at different points.
