Hi, my name is Shiloh and I’m looking for my furever home!

Right now I am living with a wonderful foster home on Vancouver Island, but not long ago i was lying trapped and in pain with my back leg in a coyote trap in California.

They found me there with a female German Shepherd and her puppies, who were my family, and I had clearly been there for quite some time.

Since nobody came to claim me I was placed in the local Animal Services pound. Things were not looking good for me at that point since they routinely euthanize for space at that facility.

Thankfully, someone took notice and I was rescued and brought to Canada.

My broken leg has healed pretty well at this point and I am feeling great! I am ready to find a family to live with for the rest of my days!

Personality description

I love to play, and I am very youthful! My foster parents say I act a little young for my age, and wonder if I am a little younger than they thought. I play very well with the five other dogs that live with me right now.

I do get a little over enthusiastic when I meet new dogs on our walks, but that’s just my friendly nature showing! I am also very intelligent, so you’ll be able to teach me all kinds of tricks!

Some of my favourite things to do include playing with the hose and chasing balls.

One thing that I’m not so fond of is cats. If you already have a pup in the home, we should get along just fine, but I don’t trust felines!
