Dayna is looking for a furever home for Christmas!
Dayna is a 6-year-old Pit Bull Terrier / Labrador Retriever, and is in a foster home through the Shuswap/Salmon Arm SPCA.

This sweet girl is a long term resident at the shelter and would love nothing more than to finally have a family of her own to enjoy the holidays with.
Dayna has a wish list this holiday season, including a warm bed, a fenced yard, squeaky toys, a few rubber chickens, good food and lots of treats!
She’d also love a family that will want to take her on walks. She’s also quite fond of car rides, and loves to explore!

This quirky girl is afraid of the dark, so her family should consider giving her a nightlight!
Although she loves to spend time with her humans, Dayna isn’t too much of a cuddle bug, and enjoys personal space. She needs her beauty rest so she has the energy to play with her toys!
Dayna is also the star of the show, and will need to be the only pet in the household.
She comes with a lot of personality, and is a certified good girl! Dayna is house trained and leash trained, and does chew or wreck things you love. She doesn’t jump up, and doesn’t have separation anxiety so she is happy to hang out on her own until you come home.
She will want to meet every dog she sees, and will need more training in this area. She is a strong girl, so continuing this work with her will be crucial.
