Travellers should be cautious, as the forecast is calling for snow on the mountain passes.
NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English says that a weather system is expected to bring some precipitation today.
“The next weather system moves onshore today with rain at times. Freezing levels will be around 1400m and there will be snow on some of the mountain passes,” says English.
It will be drier on Sunday, although isolated showers will still be possible, she adds.
Valley daytime high temperatures will be cooler this weekend, around 10C.
