Soccer legend and fashion icon David Beckham showed on the Late Late Show that he definitely has the ability to laugh at himself.

Beckham, along with host James Corden, created a spoof advertisement for “D & J Briefs” in the style of the soccer legend’s own underwear ads. Shot in black and white with extremely serious expressions, the two men hold exaggerated poses and contemplate how to stay “secure” in a world with increasing pressures. Corden really sells the video, keeping a straight face while leaping, pretending to be Beckham’s arms, and generally strutting his stuff.

“D & J Briefs,” says Corden. “It’s underwear for a man with a great body…and David Beckham.”
