Collision Closes Highway 97 near Oliver

UPDATE: The highway has fully reopened.

UPDATE: The highway has reopened to single lane alternating traffic.

Original Story:

Highway 97 is closed in both directions just north of Oliver because of a vehicle incident.

According to DriveBC, the closure is located about five kilometres north of Oliver and there is no detour in the area. An assessment is currently in progress and there is no estimated time of opening. DriveBC will update motorists with more information as it becomes available.
