Big White woke up to fresh snow for the final day of the weekend, and more is on the way.
Over the last 24 hours, the mountain collected 5 centimeters of powder and another 2-4cm will accumulate during today’s Australia Day celebrations.
With activities taking place all day long, those of you eager to join in on the fun should make sure you meet up with everyone atop the blue run at 11 am for a group photo and to take part in the Kangaroo run. Click here for more details.
In addition to the busyness set to unfold for Australia Day, today is also the final day of the FIS World Cup. Take a break from shredding to pick up some tricks from the world-class snowboardcross athletes competing for the championship title.
The cup also means that the Telus Park Chairlift will not be in service for the public.
Alongside these awesome events, those of you setting out for biggie today can look forward to decent conditions. Today’s low is only set to dip down to -2C with overcast skies and calm winds.
The periodic snowfall will limit visibility, so stay safe and have fun!
