BREAKING: Wildfire burning in Vernon’s BX neighborhood

BC Wildfire Services has confirmed they are responding to what they are calling the Kettleston wildfire in Vernon's BX area.

The wildfire is reportedly burning off of Dixon Dam Road, near Tillicum Road in Vernon.

B.C. Wildfire information officer Jody Lucius says there is no estimated size at this point and no structures are currently threatened.

Two helicopters are on site alongside BC Wildfire and BX Fire Department crews.
