The Kamloops Blazers continued their strong push to the playoffs last week, this time with tight contests against the Kelowna Rockets and Everett Silvertips. 

Kamloops has managed to pull away atop the BC Division, partly because of the excellent play from the club's leaders. Last weekend was no different, though Orrin Centazzo was recognized for his hard work.

Centazzo was named the WHL On the Run Player of the Week for this morning. In just two games on Friday and Saturday, he scored three goals to go along with seven points. 

The 19-year-old, 5'8" forward has surged offensively this year, putting home 24 goals and 50 points in 35 games. Those numbers include seven power-play goals, one short-handed goal, and four-game-winners.

This season, Centazzo already has a career-high for goals and is one point away from matching his career-high last season. Through 216 WHL games, the former 5th-round pick in the 2015 Bantam Draft has scored 57 times to go along with 136 points.
