The conditions are looking great up at Big White on the last day of 2025.

Although no new snow fell overnight, the ski resort is reporting packed powder and machine groomed slopes.

The winds are light and the sky is a bit overcast Wednesday morning.

Visibility is unlimited with a current temperature of -4ºC.

No new snow has fallen in the past 12 or 24 hours.

However, 19 centimetres has fallen over the past week.

That brings the current alpine snow base up to 130 cm.

There are 111 runs open with 16 lifts operating.

Big White is gearing up for their annual New Year’s Eve celebration, which kicks off at  7 pm.

Events include a live DJ, a complimentary hot chocolate bar and a free outdoor skating rink, with rental skates available.

The big fireworks show will be happening at 9 pm.
