Ever wonder why Lululemon’s products are so darn expensive?
Helping to pay property taxes on Chip Wilson’s Point Grey mansion could be one reason.
Wilson, who founded Lululemon in 1998, had his home valued at $78.8 million on Tuesday by BC Assessment. That's up $3 million from the home’s 2017 property value assessment.

While the numbers are staggering, they are not necessarily surprising.
It’s the fourth consecutive year ithe home has been valued as the most expensive in the province. The top 10 most expensive homes in the province are all in the same general area of Vancouver.
The 10 most expensive homes on the list are spread out around the Kitsilano, Point Grey, and Shaughnessy neighbourhoods. Eight of them are either on Point Grey Road or Belmont Avenue.
But Wilson's home wasn't the only property in B.C. to see an increase in assessment value.
