Thompson-Okanagan resident who looked hard enough experienced a little treat on Saturday night. 

Aurora Borealis was apparently out and on display for the region. Though fairly dim, it was still visible while away from light pollution and cloud coverage. 

Twitter user "@jhcba123" was one of the few residents who snapped a photo of the event in Kamloops. 

According to AuroraForecast.com, the Northern Lights will be on display again overnight. The aurora rating is at a "7," which means they are active. 

"Active aurora possible with good chance of isolated minor auroral substorms and favourable conditions for major aurora activity," wrote the site. 

The next two days sees the rating drop to five and four, which means seeing the lights on those nights would only be possible. 

Northern communities will have a much greater view of the spectacle.
