No matter what you may get up to, Kelowna always has something fun to do on your days off.

HorrorFest

If you love Halloween and Horror movies, then you don’t want to miss out on the 9th annual HorrorFest. Hosted at The Habitat at 7 p.m. Friday night, be prepared for a night of spine-chilling short films created by very talented Okanagan locals.
Haunted House

On 945 Grenfell Road you’ll run into an eerie house full of hauntings and if you’re brave enough, you’re welcome to enter. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. throughout the weekend, you and your scare squad can take in this spooky display by donation of cash or a non-perishable food item.
HauntedLanding
From Friday to Monday you and your crew can visit the newly made over LocoLanding for their Halloween attraction the HauntedLanding. A haunted hotel with terror lurking around every corner the 1,300 square foot attraction is a must visit before Halloween. They are open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with kid-friendly hours between opening and 6:45 p.m. Entry is $10!
Repair Cafe

If you have broken items from laptops to ceramics, the Repair Cafe wants to help you. In an effort to avoid filling up the landfill, the RDCO is hosting an event where volunteer experts will be onsite offering help to those who wish to repair their possessions.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday in the Trades building at Okanagan College.
Gratitude Family Fun Day

Gratitude month is winding down here in Kelowna, so come celebrate the end of an awesome month at their Family Fun Day event. Get dressed up in your Halloween best at head to the Okanagan Boys & Girls Club in Rutland for a day filled with spooktacular fun activities!
Thrill the World

Know all the moves to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”? Then throw on your best zombie attire and head to Stuart Park Saturday at 3 p.m. Why? Because you can take part in a large scale Thriller dance party if you bring a canned food donation.
Fall Festival at the Lavender Herb Farm

The Okanagan Lavender and Herb Farm will be hosting their very first Fall Festival. The beautiful gardens will receive a ghoulishly great transformation where children will ten get to participate in story time and a scavenger hunt. Get your tickets quickly as the event is on Saturday, October 28th from 1p.m. to 6 p.m.
Vegan Market

Whether you’re a committed vegan or want to look at plant-based options, the Earth to Table market has something for you! Hosted this Sunday at the Kelowna Forum from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the vendors will be ready to answer your questions. Admission is $5 and some awesome door prizes are up for grabs!
